Perspective one-to-ones
Perspective one-to-ones are meetings between employees and their direct managers. They take place every 6 weeks to encourage open dialogue and a culture of feedback.
Goals
Promoting individual development by identifying strengths and addressing areas that require attention.
How it works
These one-to-ones are scheduled firmly in the calendar and last 60 minutes. They are introduced during the onboarding process.
To ensure a structured process and proper documentation, a 4-field matrix is used where current issues, highlights, ideas, and guiding rules are captured.
Managers may also collect feedback about the employee from project leads beforehand.
The meeting can address the so-called 4Cs:
- Customer (How is project work going?)
- Culture (Are there topics within the team that should be discussed?)
- Cash (project-controlling or salary topics)
- Communication power (marketing-related topics)
